Good news: On April 22, 2025 the 9 members of the PG County Council (our elected politicians) voted unanimously to "remand" the project back to the County Planning Board for modifications!!! (A big win for us!)

Bad News: June 12 2025: The County Planning Board heard our testimony again on the need for a Health Impact Study, and possible graves of enslaved people. Even so, they APPROVED IT, AGAIN for a 2nd time.

Latest:  We, as a community chose to request that the District Council Hear Oral Arguments, AGAIN. See our  August 14 2025 letter. 

On October 6 2025 we testified before the County Council and Ms. Wanika Fisher chose to make a final decision at the next public meeting, Oct 21st 2025.
